About Me
As a family physician, I listen to my patients, give them hope and help them be active participants in their health care. My goal is to see my patients improve with every visit so they can enjoy an active and healthy life.
I was drawn to family medicine after years of experience working in other areas of health care such as a critical care nurse and pharmacist. Throughout my medical career, I have gained a vast range of skills and knowledge to treat patients of all ages with various conditions.
I am passionate about integrating healthy nutritional habits into one’s daily life, like growing your own vegetables and herbs and supporting community-sponsored agriculture (CSA) farms. I am especially interested in helping all ages understand how to blend healthy foods into their diets and have taught cooking classes. One saying my patients will hear me say often is to “eat a rainbow,” meaning eat fresh produce of many colors.
