About Me
Patient interactions are the most satisfying aspect of my career. I imagine that I am caring for my own family member, treating all individuals with the respect and dignity they deserve.
I treat the whole person, not just the medical problem. This is best accomplished through a collaborative approach. And by using all available healthcare resources and all elements of a team approach.
As a registered nurse, I practiced for 30 years in acute care settings such as critical care and the emergency room. I have additional experience practicing as a nurse practitioner in a busy, inner-city emergency room setting.
Education and continued learning are and always will be an important aspect of my career development as I strive to be the best clinician I can possibly be.
