About Me
Sherrie Kamm, PhD is a licensed psychologist working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. She specializes in coping with acute or chronic medical conditions (and associated anxiety or mood issues), bereavement, and trauma. She enjoys partnering with patients and their families to support healthy growth and development. Dr. Kamm utilizes evidenced-based interventions and creative approaches that honor a patient’s unique interests and strengths. She believes that parent-involvement is an important part of helping children reach their goals. She has also completed specialized training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Clinical Hypnosis.
