About Me
I use a patient-centered approach, meeting patients where they are in recovery by listening to them and guiding them through various treatment options. I use reading materials, workbooks, videos and hands-on projects to educate patients.
As a substance use disorder counselor, I find it rewarding to see patients recognize the positive impact that sobriety has made in their lives. Witnessing the transformation and growth of my patients as they progress in their recovery is a fulfilling and motivating aspect of my work.
I was drawn to this profession due to personal experiences growing up in a family with substance abuse. Having witnessed the impact on family members and the resulting dysfunction, I am passionate about helping both individuals and their affected family members.
