About Me
My favorite aspect of being a family medicine physician is the opportunity to get to know a patient’s entire family and being a central part of their care. My philosophy is that it’s important to take a look at the bigger picture. There’s more to you than the time I see you in the office. I try to place myself in your shoes to understand what barriers there are to care, so I can better assist you in achieving your best health possible.
I was drawn to family medicine because it allows me to see the entire spectrum of humanity and medicine. It gives me the chance to exercise my brain by learning something new every day, and I love the variety. As a doctor of osteopathic medicine, I enjoy applying hands-on care. I also hold a special place in my heart for prenatal and adolescent populations.
I’m an avid animal lover! I’ll gladly show you pictures of my pets and look at pictures of yours. Over the years, I’ve been the proud mother of cats, dogs, guinea pigs, ferrets, turtles, and a bearded dragon.
