Patients come to me at a difficult, low point in their life and share information they may have never talked about with anyone. I am honored to have the opportunity to listen, validate and partner with them to create an individualized treatment plan to help them move forward and feel better.  

I take a trauma-informed care approach to providing care to my patients. This helps me see the patient from a holistic perspective, to understand that things may have happened in their lives that shaped their outlook and responses to life. I strive to create a comfortable environment for my patients, so they feel safe sharing their symptoms and story with me.

I have a strong interest in the brain and mind-body connection and have previous experience working with patients with mental health conditions as a family medicine physician. I am motivated by the growing demand for mental health services and the need to explore alternative care options. My passion led me to leave primary care and pursue a psychiatry residency with the goal of enhancing access to psychiatric services in our community.
