To me, 80 percent of the treatment process is about listening. When you’re paying close attention to the details and asking the right questions, you find that the patient will tell you what the problem is and the exam will confirm it.
I wound up in physical medicine and rehabilitation after finding that my true passion lied in neurologic and musculoskeletal care. This is a specialty that allows me to treat the whole person. It’s not about concentrating on a single body part or organ – it’s about focusing on full-body function to better our patients’ lives.
