About Me
I enjoy working with patients to problem solve, diagnose injuries, offer treatment options and assist with rehabilitation. I find it rewarding to help people lead more productive and happier lives.
I strive to keep current with the ever-changing technologies in the field of orthopedics. I have seen the value technology and innovation can add in the areas of patient-reported satisfaction and outcomes. I specialize in foot and ankle disorders and injuries. I also have expertise in complex and minimally invasive surgery, arthritis and sports-related injuries.
A native of Slovakia, I attended Comenius University where I obtained my medical and PhD degrees. I then moved to Boston for a postdoctoral research fellowship in biomechanics at Harvard Medical School where I also completed my residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. I served as a Chief Resident in Orthopaedic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and also was the assistant team physician for the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins.
