About Me
I provide individual and group therapy for adults focusing on women’s health issues. One of my main specialty areas is working with women who are experiencing depression or anxiety in the prenatal postpartum period. Pregnancy and the first year with a baby can be more stressful than many people realize and is a time of transition for women and their relationships. Providing continued support, coupled with learning how to balance this new role and managing stress can really help moms adjust to the changes and enjoy this time with their baby. My hope is that women can learn new skills and resolve issues so they can move on and enjoy a healthy life with their family.
The best part of my job is seeing women become more confident as mothers and individuals. I believe that experiencing a healthy pregnancy and the first year with a baby is not only important to a mom’s health, but also to her child’s well-being and long-term path. I view working with clients as a collaborative, active process. I utilize cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal and group therapy techniques to support and engage clients in addressing their identified issues.
