About Me
My approach to care is comprehensive and involves making joint medical decisions with each of my patients. My goal during every visit is to understand their concerns in the context of their values, as well as their complete medical, surgical, family and social history.
I strongly believe in preventative care and education. I have found that the more my patients understand about preventing disease processes and managing their medical conditions on a daily basis, the better they feel both mentally and physically.
I was drawn to family medicine mainly because it offers the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with patients while providing health care throughout their lives. Before transitioning to family medicine, I completed four years of training in general surgery. I have a specific interest in women’s health.
