While listening and learning about who they are, I like to have the opportunity to form new relationships with patients and their families. Giving individuals a choice is important. So is engaging patients in their own care, helping them understand their illnesses and offering practical options they can take for improvement.
I grew up on a farm in a family of nine children. My mother was a nurse whom I always looked up to and wanted to model myself after. I bring her same sense of dedication to my daily responsibilities.
As my patient, I will value and respect your opinions.
