About Me
The patient-doctor partnership is an important one and one I take seriously. The goal of that relationship is to help create the best health plan we can implement together for your improved quality of life.
It starts with you and your motivation to improve. My goal is not to tell you what you have done wrong and that what I am prescribing is right. Instead, I am simply here to advise and encourage healthy living by applying my knowledge of medicine, and showing you how best to resolve concerns and make major life changes sooner. I am here to be the bridge between happiness and wellbeing; to offer my hand and knowledge in unburdening health disparities as best I can so we may improve each other’s lives for the better. My three biggest passions are pediatrics, osteopathic medicine and providing care for the LGBTQ+ community.
My love for medicine started as a child in Chicago. As an immigrant family, our access to healthcare was limited. I grew up wanting the ability to provide care to all patients who need it, not just those who can afford it. For the majority of my medical education, I have served in underserved communities.
My parents taught me that you can learn something from every single person you meet even if the encounter is for just a couple of minutes. I have wholeheartedly applied those wise words into the way I practice medicine today.
