About Me
Listening to my patients, asking for their opinion and recognizing the importance of incorporating their personal values and priorities into treatment decisions is key to practicing patient-centered care. I ensure my patients feel cared for as individuals and are collaborative in their plan of care.
As a nurse practitioner, I provide primary care for a wide range of patients and specialize in chronic disease management, wound care and surgical care.
Access to these services is vital in preventing disease and keeping people healthy.
I’m an Air Force veteran and provided health care as a nurse in the military setting.
I have taken care of the rural population during my entire career and have an understanding of their unique needs and concerns. Growing up and living in a rural setting, I have learned that there are several barriers that can occur when a patient does not live near a clinic or hospital. This has motivated me to help improve the overall health of our rural communities.
