About Me
As a genetic counselor, I take a patient-centered approach, ensuring that each patient’s needs, concerns and goals are heard and addressed. My passion lies in providing education and support to enable patients to take control of their health care.
Educating patients and empowering them to make informed decisions based on their circumstances is what I enjoy most about my job. It is rewarding to provide patients with a greater understanding of their genetic risk factors and the options available for genetic testing, medical management and beyond.
I chose a career in genetic counseling because I was drawn to the ever-evolving nature of genetics. I find excitement in a constantly growing and advancing field, allowing me to continue learning from medical discoveries throughout my career while helping patients navigate complex genetic information.
