I place a strong emphasis on patient-centered care, where I prioritize the patient’s values and goals throughout the therapeutic process. My focus is on facilitating meaningful, sustainable improvements in daily function and overall well-being.
What I like most about my job is seeing my patients recognize the progress they've achieved in therapy and the strides they've taken to return to their regular daily routine. I enjoy integrating fun and meaningful activities into treatments for my patients, prioritizing their enjoyment and engagement throughout the process.
I was drawn to occupational therapy because of the opportunity to help patients regain daily activities using various techniques and tools.
