About Me
Genetic counseling allows me to help people understand how something as complex as genetics can impact their daily life. I take the time to listen and learn a patient’s personal and family health history to help identify any conditions that may affect their health.
Analyzing patient DNA is an emerging approach for future disease treatment and prevention. We now can personalize therapy based on a patient’s genetic information so they can be placed on screening and treatment protocols. Medical advancements and technology are always changing and evolving, and I am excited to be a part of it.
Sometimes the idea of genetics or understanding a medical condition can be confusing.
I strive to effectively communicate with all of my patients by using common words and phrases instead of complex medical terms and acronyms that can be overwhelming.
