About Me
What I like about being a nurse practitioner is that I connect with a variety of patients every day. It is very rewarding to play an important role in their lives and watch them reach their goals.
I practice holistic, patient-centered care, while focusing on the patient’s overall well-being. It’s important to treat mental health in addition to physical ailments. I believe that communication, education and patient participation is the key to success. I have a special interest in women's health and managing chronic conditions.
As a diabetic myself, I understand the frustrations of managing a chronic disease in this complex health care system. I do whatever I can to help minimize this burden on my patients. I enjoy sharing stories of my own experiences and learning from others.
