Every patient is an individual with specific needs and desires that should be taken in consideration when providing care. That requires not just treating each patient physically, but also mentally, socially and spiritually.

I especially love caring for the older population, always putting the patient and their family and caregivers at the center of the health care team. I enjoy seeing patients over an extended time and getting to know them.

I have worked in acute care hospitals and skilled nursing facilities, and also in the insurance industry and with quality improvement initiatives across health care. Given my many years in nursing and health care, I draw on a variety of past experiences to help improve the care of my patients.
