About Me
As a psychiatrist, I am deeply committed to fostering a therapeutic alliance grounded in partnership and collaboration. I believe that effective treatment depends on shared decision-making, where the provider and patient engage in open dialogue to explore options and align goals. By honoring each patient’s unique perspective and experiences, I strive to create a safe, supportive environment that empowers active participation in the healing journey.
What I enjoy most about my work is the chance to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Every day brings a new opportunity to connect with patients, understand their struggles and support them on their path to healing and self-discovery. I find great fulfillment in building therapeutic relationships, helping patients navigate challenges and witnessing their growth and resilience.
I was drawn to psychiatry by a desire to help patients with diverse mental health challenges, ranging from ADHD and depression to PTSD and substance use, across all life stages. My experiences with veterans, the elderly and other populations highlighted the importance of compassionate, individualized care. These experiences have fueled my passion to empower patients, support healing and promote resilience.
