About Me
My two most important goals in patient care are to help patients live longer and improve the quality of their lives. I am drawn to and intrigued by the many aspects of adult cardiac surgery. More specifically, Cardiac surgery requires its practitioners to perform their procedures with flawless precision. I find this demand—and the pursuit and fulfillment of it—a challenge through which I receive great satisfaction.
The human body is an intricate art of creation. The cardiovascular system, in particular, plays a major role in our bodies. It is fascinating to observe how each part of the system functions and is dependent on so many others to work.
In addition to my attention to the surgical aspects of my profession, I am also passionate about women’s health and have been closely involved with Go Red for Women with the American Heart Association. Before attending medical school, I served as a police officer in the rank of Women Inspector in Hong Kong, which comes as a surprise to many patients.
