About Me
My approach to care is patient-centered, emphasizing education and including patients in treatment options to give them autonomy over their care. I prioritize building a trusting relationship, believing that informed patients can actively participate in decisions about their treatment.
The best part of my job is playing a crucial role in improving my patients’ quality of life. I enjoy listening to my patients discuss their most vulnerable aspects of their lives.
I was inspired to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner by my work as a critical care nurse, caring for patients at their most vulnerable moments. Most of my training has been in the hospital emergency department setting and the inpatient psychiatric unit. I have a particular interest in treating bipolar disorder and depression.
