What I enjoy most about my job is the opportunity to guide patients through critical moments, manage complex conditions and work collaboratively with teams to make a meaningful difference during vulnerable times.
I chose a career in hospital medicine for its complexity and acuity, the variety of conditions treated and the collaborative teamwork it requires. It also offers the chance to support patients through critical moments while focusing on clinical decision-making, quality improvement and care transitions.
