About Me
I believe that educating patients and their families empowers them to make informed decisions about their care. I also believe that compassion, effective communication, and respecting their choices are essential for building trust and delivering patient-centered care.
What I like most about my job is getting to know my patients and understanding their preferences, especially during challenging times such as living with chronic illness or approaching the end of life.
My journey toward hospice and palliative medicine has been shaped by personal and professional experiences. I was drawn to this field to honor each patient’s dignity by providing compassionate care that aligns with their values, preferences and goals. I speak English, Hindi, Punjabi and am currently learning Spanish.
