What I enjoy most about working in plastic surgery is its variety. The opportunity to operate on all parts of the body and care for a wide range of patients is very rewarding. Whether restoring function after an injury, performing complex reconstructions or helping patients achieve their cosmetic goals, I value the challenge and diversity the specialty offers each day.
I chose plastic surgery after witnessing its wide scope early in my training, from complex reconstructions to delicate microsurgery. The specialty offers the chance to preserve mobility, rebuild after injury and help patients regain a sense of wholeness and self-confidence.
